How to Play the Game?

First one among the group playing the Funskool Scotland Yard board game take the character of Mister X and elusive bandit. The others taken on the role of nabbing him and are Funskool Scotland Yard detectives. The cards are first shuffled and each player draws a card to decide their point of station where they will start their chase. The chase consists of either taking a taxi, bus or the underground tube.

Each move is noted on the travel log but only the mode of transport is noted and not the place. The other players try and co-operate and decide on the directions they need to move in to catch the offender. The maximum number of moves allowed is 24 and if he remains free till then he is declared the winner otherwise whoever nabs him is the winner.
